Academic work is at the heart of what we do at Repton School. Our aim is to allow each pupil to develop his or her potential to the maximum. This means setting the highest academic expectations for each Reptonian, and then developing the systems to monitor and support each pupil’s individual progress. We believe that this allows pupils to achieve more than they could have imagined.

Reptonians continue to achieve consistent academic success, and we were once again delighted with the results achieved in external examinations by our pupils in 2018.

The 2018 A Level results achieved by our Upper Sixth pupils were very good, with 44.4% awarded an A* or A. The 2018 GCSE results achieved by our O-Block (Year 11) pupils were the best in a generation with 44.2% achieving an A*, 9 or 8 and 65.7% achieving an A*, A, 9, 8 or 7.

These headline figures show that Repton continues to achieve first class results throughout the pupil body, and across the wide range of subjects studied.
